About Rock Insurance Brokers

Rock Insurance Brokers Limited (Rock) was established in 1993 and began operations in 1994. The company is licensed by the Pensions and Insurance Authority (PIA) to carry out insurance broking business in all aspects.

From the commencement of its operations, the firm has handled a diverse range of clients and risks. These range from, retail businesses to mega-risk clients such as oil marketing companies, agricultural, manufacturing, financial institutions, and mining companies.

He brings to the board experience from the private sector. He is currently the Managing Director of Woodlock Enterprises and has been involved in the construction of public buildings, roads, and bridges among other projects for the government, private sector, and donors.

KAMONA AKAPELWA

BOARD MEMBER
Bachelors of Law Degree- LLB ( UNZA) Masters of Law Degree - LLM ( MANCHEST ER) Advocate of the High Court of Zambia Kamona has a background working in private legal practice in litigation and as an assistant senior state advocate in the Ministry of Justice. She has also worked in the banking sector as a legal and compliance manager. Her specialization is corporate governance, litigation and alternative dispute resolution.

CRISPIN DAKA

BOARD MEMBER
Masters of Science- Accounting and Finance (UK) Fellow Member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants Crispin is a chartered accountant with more than ten years’ experience in the banking and financial services industry where he specializes in corporate, commercial, SME health and credit risk management. He brings to the company a wealth of experience in financial, strategic planning for growth and profitability.

MWIMBA CHIMUKA SIMWINGA

COMPANY SECRETARY
Bachelor of Law Degree- LLB (CAVENDISH) Masters of Law Degree - LLM ( UCT) Advocate of the High Court of Zambia (AHCZ) Mwimba is an advocate of the High Court of Zambia. She has a particular interest in corporate and commercial law. Mwimba has wide corporate governance experience working in both public and private institutions where she has served as Company Secretary and Legal Counsel. She also has experience in company restructuring and business rescue.
